Working with Siskin We recognize the impact increased emphasis on standardized test scores, tight school budgets, and the ever increasing costs of transportation are having on most schools' ability to provide important out of the classroom learning experiences for their students. Siskin also values other places of learning like home school groups, alternative programs, and parochial schools and the unique challenges they often face. Therefore, while we strongly believe that the best possible setting for one of our programs is outside in one of our several wild classrooms, we also work hard to create programs that allow us to bring our wild classrooms to you. Most of our programs can be brought on the road to your school or place of learning and be adapted to fit your time constraints. Finally, while Siskin is a new organization, we have worked as educators in the Kingdom for years and understand the fiscal realities that our local schools, communities, families, and individuals face. In light of this we are committed to providing high quality learning opportunities at a cost your school or organization can afford. Contact us and we will work with you to design a great program that not only meets your educational needs but also fits within your budget.

Field Trips Single-day Field trips facilitate group bonding, instill a sense of adventure, and allow students to experience learning from a new perspective. Allow one of our many single-day field trips serve as a catalyst for achieving your classroom goals. Overnight While more is not always better, in this case it is. Research has shown that overnight programs have a potential for learning, personal growth, and group bonding that single-day programs can only just begin to foster.
At Your School Single-day Stretch your classroom budget, and let us help save on the rising cost of transportation by bringing one of our programs to your school. Classroom Presentations A Siskin ecologist in your classroom can be a fantastic way to augment a larger science curriculum with an outside expert and resources. Whether you are interested in bats, butterflies, or invasive exotic species, our staff can provide an exciting and educational classroom presentation. After School Siskin’s staff spent the past six years delivering hundreds of science and challenge-based programs to children in after school programs. Our offerings vary seasonally and include a balanced blend of learning, activities, arts & crafts, and play. Archery, woodworking, and natural science themed after school programs are some of our personal favorites.
